Kathmandu Diabetes and Thyroid centre has been conducting free diabetes screening camp itself and also in co-ordination with other national and international organizations.
Recently Kathmandu Diabetes and Thyroid centre conducted a Free Diabetes and Thyroid Awareness Program and Diabetes screening & Thyroid counseling on Falgun 24 and 25 at Butwal on association with Rotary club of Butwal and Rotary club of Sainamaina. Free medicine distribution and free blood test was done for the patients. As many as 600 people had their health examined at 2 day-long free health camp at Sainamaina, Rupandehi.
The health camp was successfully carried out by Dr. Ansumali Joshi along with the team of KDTC including diabetes educator and other OPD nurses.
